A total of 70 contestants will ultimately arrive in Vietnam to take part in the pageant together with two Vietnamese representatives, Hoang Thi Yen, Mrs Vietnam 2009, and Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, first runner-up of Mrs. Vietnam 2009.
On Wednesday, the contestants visited Reunification Palace and met with city authorities at the City Hall. Today, they go to Vung Tau City to take in the sights, do some charity works, join sideline contests of the organizers and practice for the crown awarding night on November 22. Hollywood star Alan Thicke will arrive in Vietnam on November 19 to share emcee duties on the big night with a Vietnamese emcee.

The beautiful candidates, representing their home countries around the globe, will spend several days in HCMC discovering the sights and sounds of the vibrant city and meeting with local groups and
delegates. All the while, the ladies will be experiencing the extensive facilities and services of Windsor Plaza Hotel.
After their stay, the contestants will continue to Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province for the final round of Mrs. World 2009 to be broadcast internationally on November 22.
