Ground-breaking ceremony for the Vietnam Almine Mill.
The US$36 million aluminium mill is the biggest ever foreign invested project in Hoa Binh province and the 19th project in the Luong Son Industrial Zone.
The Vietnam Almine Mill will apply advanced Japanese technology in producing, processing and supplying aluminium products to both domestic and foreign markets.
It will have the capacity of 24,000 tonnes of rolling aluminium per year and will create around 500 jobs for local people.
The mill will be built in about one year and is scheduled to be completed in January 2012.
