Wharf no.7 in New Dinh Vu Port begins operating

The New Dinh Vu Port can receive 20,000 DWT vessels.

The wharf is the final one to be constructed among a series of seven wharves in New Dinh Vu Port and the container wharf meets international standards. It is 195.6-metres long and was constructed in one year with a total investment of VND 300 billion.

The seven wharves in the New Dinh Vu Port have a total length of 1,405 metres and have helped improve the port’s loading capacity, eased traffic jams in the inner city and met the demands of cargo undergoing customs clearance.

Wharves no.1 and 2 were completed in 2007, while the construction of wharves no.3 to 6 were completed in 2011.
