Construction of the central region’s largest urban telecommunications and information technology complex debuted in Vinh on March 26.
The $57.9 million complex is developed by the Post and Telecommunications Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (PTIC), under state-owned Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT Group).
The complex, to cover more than 99,000 square metres, will encompass a Metro supermarket and trade centres, multi-floor hotels, two 17-storey apartment buildings, villas and many other public welfare facilities.
Construction was slated for completion in 2013.
“The urban telecom and information technology complex seeks to become a prime venue in central Nghe An province featuring exquisite modern architecture and an integrated social and technical infrastructure with the whole region,” said PTIC’s general director Nguyen Duy Bac Viet.
PTIC features 30 years experience in post and telecommunications construction. The firm has a strong ambition to become a prestigious trademark in Vietnam’s property market.
