PANO – Viettel Hanoi branch No1 and the Hanoi Education Promotion Organization on September 18th held a program named “Thanking Viettel customers for their goodness”.
The military telecoms group was mobilizing its customers to raise funds for poor children, with good school results, in Hanoi during the program.
Right on the opening day of the program, the first Viettel customers raised VND 65 million to grant scholarships to 100 poor children in Hanoi.
According to the group, the program was to last until the Mid-Autumn Festival and it hoped that with support from its customers many more disadvantaged children would receive scholarships and gifts during the festival.
For the past several years, Viettel has launched a number of charitable programs to help children across the country.
