Vietnamese women’s football team falls 3 places in FIFA rankings

The Vietnamese women’s football team fell to ranks 34th in the world, palced after Thailand in the final FIFA rankings of 2010. Japan still leads the Asia region followed by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Australia The US remains in the top position of the FIFA rankings despite losing 43 points. There are no major changes in the top ten except for the 4 places jump of Canada to enter the group. Five other teams that reached their highest position ever since they joined in the FIFA rankings in 2003 include the Republic of Korea (no. 18), Colombia (no. 32), Costa Rica (no. 41), Chile (no. 46) and Wales (no. 47).
