The Hanoitimes - A photography contest on Vietnamese heritage for local citizens and foreigners across the country aged 18 and older has been launched in Ho Chi Minh City . The contest aims to raise public awareness of protecting and preserving Vietnam ’s natural and cultural heritage. Photos entered in the competition should represent the beauty of the nature, landscape and people of Vietnam and reflect the importance of the country’s heritage. Each photographer can send an unlimited colour or black-and-white individual photos or collections to the website vietnamdisanUgmail.com before October 2. An awards ceremony will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 22. The most outstanding entries will be selected to be displayed from October 22 to late November in a number of cities including Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Ha Long and Ho Chi Minh City. The event is being co-organised by the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association and Vietnam Heritage Magazine to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23). ATP |
