The Hanoitimes - In early March, a lovely Vietnamese girl appeared o­n a tourism program broadcast o­n Kansai TV (KTV), Japan as a tour guide to introduce Vietnam to international friends.

The Hanoitimes - In early March, a lovely Vietnamese girl appeared o­n a tourism program broadcast o­n Kansai TV (KTV), Japan as a tour guide to introduce Vietnam to international friends.


The girl named Nguyen Hong Nhi, born in 1991, is a student from Hue Academy of Music.


In the program, Hong Nhi acts as a local tour guide. She took visitors to famous places of the ancient capital of Hue and invited them to enjoy well-known specialities such as Ba My beef noodle soup, com hen cay (rice mixed with mussels and spices) and royal foods. She also introduced the meticulous process to create these dishes.


In addition to the images of the ancient capital of Hue , the more than 20 minute clip o­n KTV also took tourists to other famous landscapes of Vietnam such as Hoi An ancient town and Phong Nha cave in Quang Binh province.
