VGP – Vietnamese Cuisine Month officially opened at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis Hotel, Hong Kong (China) on August 29.

The event is aimed at offering Hong Kong people a chance to enjoy Vietnamese traditional dishes such as Phở Hà Nội (Hà Nội’s noodle soup), sea-crab spring rolls, and Southern spring rolls.

In fact, several restaurants serving Vietnamese cuisine in Hong Kong are often jammed with guests, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Nhã, Vietnamese Consul General to Hong Kong and Macau said, adding this event is organized for the first time here.

The event, co-sponsored by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau, the Habour Plaza Metropolis Hotel, Vietnam Airlines, and a Hong Kong-based travel agency, is part of activities to celebrate Việt Nam’s National Day.

The Vietnamese Cuisine Month will run through September.
