The Itar-Tass cited a Moscow police spokesperson as saying the 50-year-old Vietnamese man was arrested in a sting operation operated jointly by the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) and the Moscow police.
The man had offered to pay police officers $5,000 after his alleged illegal activity was uncovered.
He is being investigated on charges of “attempted bribery.”
