(VOV) - 7 Vietnamese studying in Tours and Blois (France) have just been elected to the new executive board of the Vietnamese students Association of the 2012-2013 term.
The Association named “Association des etudiants vietnamiens du Val de Loire (AEViVaL) is now led by Chairman Vu Minh Thang and secretary Le Thi Lam Thuy. Its first congress, held recently at Francois-Rabelais University, Tours city, marked a new step of development in the Vietnamese students community in France.
Among participants were First Secretary of Vietnamese Embassy, Ta Quoc Tuan; Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese Students in France (UEVF), Hoang Nang Thang and representatives from the two cites as well as the Touraine-Vietnam Association, and the overseas Vietnamese community in Loire et Cher.
In the next two year, AEViVaL will closely cooperate with UEVF to provide consultancy advice and suggest for Vietnamese students to study and research well in France and fully grasp the residence country’s policies in this connection.
