25 minutes earlier, in spite of his great efforts in the men’s singles, athlete Dinh Toan won a silver medal, after being beaten by his Indonesian rival.
Previously, on November 11 th , athlete Tran Van Long won a bronze medal, the first in the Games, for Vietnam in the canoeing competitions.
At the 25 th SEA Games in Laos, the Taekwondo pair, Dinh Toan and Minh Tu, also won the first gold medal for the Vietnamese squad.
