Born in Dong Nai in 1988, she became the runner-up at Miss Vietnam in 2010.

With the perfect body statistics of 85-65-89, the 1.71-meter tall beauty has been praised for her mix of Western and Eastern charm, intelligence, and good English communication skills.

She is currently studying at RMIT International University.

Last September, My was the Vietnamese representative at the Miss Universe beauty pageant held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Though My didn’t win any top prizes at the pageant, she attracted the attention of the local media not only for her beauty but also for her outstanding fashion styles.

She was also one of the contestants on the third season of “Buoc Nhay Hoan Vu”, the Vietnamese version of Britain’s famous “Dancing with the Stars” competition, which concluded last month.

Created in 1951, the Miss World pageant is one of the oldest international beauty pageants. The annual final is typically a month-long event, with several preliminary galas, dinners, balls and activities, culminating in a globally telecast final show.

In 2011, Victoria Thuy Vy represented Vietnam at the contest.
