The Hanoitimes - Vietnam led other ASEAN nations investing in Cambodia in 2011, with 631 million USD out of the total of 880 million USD from the bloc.

Malaysia came second with 235 million USD and Singapore third with 14 million USD, the Cambodian Development Council (CDC) said.


CDC said Vietnam has 17 projects focusing o­n rubber plantations and processing and mining, while Malaysia invests in property, garment and textiles and rice milling, and Singapore focuses o­n developing five-star hotels.


Over the past 17 years, Malaysia , Vietnam , Thailand and Singapore have been key investors in Cambodia
