Vietnam launches website on anti-corruption

As a new effort to strengthen the fight against corruption, Vietnam’s Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption yesterday launched a website on anti-corruption activities at http://www.phongchongthamnhung.vn.

The website, which is considered the official voice of the committee, will provide members of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State’s officers, and the public with the Party’s and the State’s policies and regulations in the field of anti-corruption.
The website also provides accurate and timely information in line with the political orientation on fighting corruption and encourages people to engage themselves in fighting the crime.
Besides news, legal documents and archives, the website also has a forum for everyone to voice their opinions and raise their recommendations related to anti-corruption.
The forum also includes feedback or comments.
The head of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption is Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, who is assisted by deputy head Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Prime Minister, and 9 members including high-ranking officials from a number of ministries and agencies.
