The Vietnamese Embassy in Sri Lanka has for the first time participated in an international charity fair in the capital city of Colombo.
On display at the Vietnamese booth were a wide range of products including embroidery, lacquer paintings, porcelains, coffee and souvenirs.
The embassy took this occasion to distribute documents and publications on Vietnam-Sri Lanka relations issued during President Truong Tan Sang’s visit to Sri Lanka in October 2011 to promote the image of the Vietnamese land, people and culture as well as the traditional friendship between the two countries.
The fair also featured 40 booths of embassies of India, Australia, the UK, the US, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Italy, Japan, China, Switzerland, Germany and Pakistan.
