A garment factory wall suddenly collapsed in Ha Nam Province on Friday, killing three workers and injuring four others.

The accident happens around 4 p.m. at the Korean-invested Leojin Vietnam Company in Dong Van Industrial Park.

Rescuers found seven people buried under the rubble. Tran Ngoc Quy, 19, died on the spot while two other workers, Tran Thi Thoa, 39 and Nguyen Thi Hanh, 31, died at the hospital.

Another worker, Do Thi Cuc, 27, was transferred to a hospital in Hanoi while three others remain in the intensive care unit of Ha Nam General Hospital.

Police are investigating the case.

Preliminary reports are that the wall may have collapsed due large numbers of garment rolls having been propped up against its other side.
