Doctors in Quang Binh Province in central Vietnam Tuesday saved a pregnant woman who was badly injured after being butted in the stomach by a buffalo.
News website Dan Tri said the 19-year-old woman was trying to lead the animal into its pen Saturday when the animal repeatedly butted her.
The woman, identified only as C.T.T., was rushed to the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital with multiple stomach injuries and lung and liver damage.
Doctors said her six-week embryo is also safe. She is at the hospital for further care.
