All 28 passengers aboard a bus escaped without injuries after the vehicle ran off the road and into a field two meters below in Ho Chi Minh City Monday morning.
The driver, Nguyen Van Tam, 44, was slightly injured.
At around 7.45 a.m. the 25-seat bus was traveling from the Suoi Tien Tourist Area in District 9 to the neighboring province of Dong Nai when Tam lost control of the vehicle.
News website VnExpress said Tam had an asthma attack.
The fall left the vehicle’s front portion smashed. The accident caused a major traffic jam that lasted more than two hours.
Police hauled the bus out and seized it for further investigations.
