A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Transport Le Manh Hung attended the fifth Pan-Beibu Gulf (PBG) Economic Co-operation Forum, which opened in Nannning, China, on August 12.
The focus of the forum is establishing a China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA), developing the Nanning-Singapore economic corridor, opening dialogues with 500 international businesses under the framework of PBG economic co-operation, and promoting air, land and sea transport co-operation in the region.
The forum has attracted nearly 400 delegates from China, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam. (VNA)
