PANO – Mr. Viphet Sihachkr, Chairman of the Laos Football Federation, led a delegation on February 10th to pay a three-day working visit to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
At a meeting with the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hy, Chairman of VFF, congratulated Mr. Viphet Sihachkr for the outstanding achievements of Laos’ football in recent years.
Mr. Hy reported on Vietnam’s football successes, VFF’s operations, its “Football” newspaper and football tournaments.
He also praised the cooperation between the two federations over the past years and hopes to improve that cooperation in developing the football programs of both countries in the future.
On this occasion, Mr. Viphet Sihachkr thanked VFF for its help over the past years. The Laos Football Federation will study and apply Vietnam’s experiences to launch professional football tournaments in Laos.
According to cooperation guidelines between the two federations, Vietnam will provide football training courses to Laotian athletes, coaches, and management cadres.
