Vietnamese football move one place up in the first FIFA rankings of the 2011 and now ranks 136th in the world and 3rd in the South East Asian Region, despite failing to defence its title at the AFF Cup 2010.
Spain still leads the ranking, followed by the Netherland, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, England, Uruguay and Portugal.
Australia held the first position in the Asia region with 796 points, 20 points more than Japan and 147 points more than the Republic of Korea.
