The Government Inspectorate met with a delegation from the Republic of Korea’s Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission in Hanoi on May 14 to discuss their joint efforts in combating corruption.

At the meeting, Deputy Chief Inspector Tran Duc Luong gave a briefing on Vietnam’s experiences when carrying out inspections, dealing with complaints, denunciations and anticorruption.

The key measures that need to be taken are amending regulations on land prices and policies on compensation for relocated people and providing employment for them, he said.

To make the fight against corruption more effective, both parties agreed to step up the exchange of information on these key measures and work together when training up the cadres that are in charge of preventing corruption.
