Nhan Dan – A delegation of the Central Office of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Head of the Office, Party Central Committee member Tran Quoc Vuong on February 7 started a six-day working visit to Lao to strengthen the co-operation between the central offices of CPV and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP).
During the discussion between Vietnamese guest and Chief of LPRP Central Office, Bounpone Bouttanavong, the two sides informed each other about several activities of their parties and states, and detailed each country’s socio-economic situation in 2011 and key tasks for 2012.
They also shared working experience and agreed on a co-operation plan in the 2011-2015 period, which includes organising the 2012 friendly exchange and collaborating in clerical and archiving work. Two projecs will also be implemented by the two sides, building Kaysone Phomvihane Cultural Hall in Savannakhet province and supporting LPRP’s agencies in IT application.
The Head of CPV Central Office will also have a courtesy meeting with Politburo member, permanent member of the LPRP Secretariat Central Committee and Vice-President of Laos Bounnhang Vorachith, as well as visit several cultural and economic places in Laos.
