2010 Vietnam Folk Arts Association awards were given to out 66 wining research projects in Hanoi on December 21.
The award ceremony of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association 2010 is held in Hanoi on December 21.
Professor To Ngoc Thanh, chairman of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association, said that the organization board received 89 projects. These included 22 works of philology and folk culture; 11 works of performing art; 50 projects of habits, customs, and monograph; and 6 projects on traditional knowledge.
Professor To Ngoc Thanh said, among them, there are many famous authors, namely - Hoang Kim Ngoc, Hoang Tuan Pho, Pham Van Duong, Nguyen Thanh Loi and others.
The Vietnam Folk Arts Association awarded 16-second place prizes, 32-third place prizes, 14 encouragement awards and 9 gifts to artisans, who had the best research projects for 2010.
