Nhan Dan – Vietnam Airlines announced on June 3 that it will offer more than 1,350 additional flights on 12 domestic routes from July 1 to August 15 to meet the surge in air travel during the high season.
This will provide up to 1,600,000 seats during the period, 21% more than the usual capacity and up 12% from the same period last year.
More than 460,000 seats will be available for passengers travelling between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; over 190,000 seats for the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route, more than 86,000 seats from Hanoi to Nha Trang route and nearly 63,000 seats for the route between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong.
The national flag carrier will also offer additional flights to other popular destinations such as Hue, Da Lat, Phu Quoc, Vinh and Con Dao.
