HCMC - Vietnam Airlines has announced fare discounts of 18% to 46% for its flights from HCMC to destinations in Europe and Northeastern Asia in its winter schedule.

HCMC - Vietnam Airlines has announced fare discounts of 18% to 46% for its flights from HCMC to destinations in Europe and Northeastern Asia in its winter schedule.
The national flag carrier sells return fares from US$699 for its flights between HCMC and London, a discount of up to 46% compared to normal days. For the flights to Moscow, the airline charges from US$700, or 39% lower than normal rates.
Exclusive of airport tax and surcharges, the discount fares for the flights bound for European destinations can be booked until March 31 and for the services before this date.
On the routes from HCMC to Northeastern Asia, Vietnam Airlines decreases fares significantly for bookings and flights until March 31. The airline has knocked off fares by 36% over normal days for the HCMC-Tokyo service and 30% for the HCMC-Osaka/Fukuoka/Nagoya, bringing the tickets for these routes down to US$480 and US$530 respectively.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines sells return fares for its HCMC-Busan/Seoul flights before March 31 from US$449, down 18% compared to normal rates.
The airline uses Airbus A330s, A321s and A320s for 25 weekly flights between HCMC and Japan, and Boeing B777s and Airbus A321s to service HCMC-Korea 14 times a week. The carrier is now the largest operator of direct flights between Vietnam and Japan and the only operator of direct services to Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
For the flights to Europe, Vietnam Airlines uses Boeing B777s for 25 weekly flights from Vietnam to the United Kingdom, France and Germany as well as seven flights to Russia.
