Nhan Dan Online – The Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) has announced that it will allocate VND5 trillion (US$240 million) for lending to home buyers at low interest rates.
Home buyers can borrow from the bank from now until the end of 2012 at an interest rate of 12% per annum.
Under this programme, an individual can secure a loan worth up to VND25 billion (US$1.2 million) to buy a home.
In addition to preferential interest rates, VietinBank will also simplify its procedures to help customers obtain their funds easier.
