On December 22 in Hanoi, EVN signed an agreement with six suppliers to implement the programme, under which VND70 billion will be used to support customers and VND7 billion to promote the programme.
According to the agreement, suppliers will install 25,000 solar boilers throughout the country by 2013, and a total of 70,000 during the entire 2011-2015 period.
Residential households, hospitals, kindergartens, schools and hotels will receive VND1 million per boiler obtained through the programme.
