Nhan Dan - Fifteen international and 44 domestic flights operated by Vietnam Airlines (VNA) have been delayed or cancelled due to Guchol and Talim, two strong typhoons approaching Northeast Asia.
VNA announced that 12 international flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Japan and Taiwan (China) were delayed on June 19.
The carrier also cancelled three flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Kaohsiung, Taiwan (China) that same day and another between Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo on June 20.
Meanwhile, dismal weather conditions also forced 44 domestic flights between Dalat and Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang to be cancelled over the past three days.
VNA will offer passengers affected by cancellations seats aboard rescheduled flights in the coming days depending on weather conditions.
