VGP – Forty-four Vietnamese senior managers will visit Kansai, Japan, from late February to March 2012, to study clean water supply technology and sewage treatment systems.

The information was released by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Kansai Group.

During their two weeks in Japan, these managers will make a fact-finding tour of water supply and leakage systems in Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe as well as the Kubota factory which produces sewage treatment basins and other related machines and equipments.

The visit was proposed by Chairman of Japan’s Kansai Economic Federation Shosuke Mori to Vietnamese State President Trương Tấn Sang and other high-ranked leaders during his working trip to Việt Nam in November last year.

The Kansai Economic Federation intends to formulate programs related to urban traffic systems and other sectors for Vietnamese officials with the aim of seeking more orders from Việt Nam for Japanese infrastructure system providers.
