VGP - Vietnam exported 62,000 tons of pepper with the revenue of US $424 million in the first five months of this year, up 47.2% in value, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
With the export volume, Vietnam has consolidated its position as the world’s biggest pepper exporter, gaining some 40-50% of the global share.
Vietnam’s biggest pepper importers include the US, Germany and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Indian, Singapore, the Netherlands and Spain.
