Nhan Dan Online- Tai Em’s excellent performance helped Dong Tam Long An demolish Hoa Phat Hanoi 4-1 at Long An stadium on Sunday.
Tai Em gave Dong Tam Long An the lead when he scored the opener in the 37th minute.
After the restart, it was Tai Em who doubled the score for Long An in the 57th minute. Danny widened the gap to 3-0 in the 63rd minute and fired the fourth seven minutes later. Thanh Trung scored the consolation for Hoa Phat in the 77th minute.
Meanwhile, Lazaro’s brace in the second half earned Hai Phong three points in the match against Nam Dinh at Tu Do stadium.
In the first half, bottom-placed Nam Dinh played well in their defence, preventing all Hai Phong’s attacks. But after the interval, Lazaro’s brace in the 51st and 62nd minutes helped Hai Phong surpassed Nam Dinh 2-0.
Khanh Hoa also thrashed Ninh Binh 2-0 at Nha Trang stadium. The goals were scored by Ngoc Dien in the 33rd minute and Agostino in the 58th minute.
On Sunday, Thanh Hoa lost 4-2 to Da Nang, Binh Duong also suffered the same loss to Dong Thap and Song Lam Nghe An were defeated 2-1 by Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
T & T won the trophy one round earlier despite a goalless draw with Navibank Saigon.
Now the V-League has only one round to go. Fourth-placed Dong Thap with 41 points and fifth-placed Dong Tam Long An (40 points) can compete with second-placed Hai Phong and third-placed Khanh Hoa with 42 points each for the silver and bronze medals.
Nam Dinh and Navibank Saigon were relegated into the First Division and 12th-placed Thanh Hoa with 31 points and 11th-placed Ninh Binh (33 points) are facing a play-off match.
According to the tournament regulations, the two bottom-placed teams will be relegated from the V-League while the third-last team will play off with the third-placed team in the First Division for a place in the V-League.
