VCCI helps local firms tackle problems in Russia

HCMC – Enterprises running into problems when doing business in Russia can send their proposals to the International Relations Department of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce of Industry (VCCI).

VCCI will include the proposals in a report and submit it to President Truong Tan Sang, who will pay his official visit to Russia late this month.

According to VCCI, Russia is a traditional market of Vietnamese enterprises. However, many enterprises fail to update the information and the policies regarding investment and business environment in this potential market.

Therefore, the fact that VCCI is gathering the problems that local businesses are facing in Russia and seeking ways to remove them offers a great chance for Vietnamese firms to better penetrate the Russian market.

The opinions and proposals of enterprises will be submitted to the President and will be later discussed at the working sessions between relevant agencies of the two countries and at the official meeting between President Sang and his Russian counterpart.

Moreover, to provide local businesses with an overview on the Russian market, VCCI will join hands with the Russia Trade Representative Agency in Vietnam to organize the “Economic dialogue: potentials for business and investment cooperation with Russia”. The event will take place from 9:00 to 11:30 am on July 20 on the seventh floor of VCCI Building at 9 Dao Duy Anh Street in Hanoi.

This will be a good opportunity for local enterprises to learn more about Russia and look for chances to make investment and do business in this market in the coming time.
