The tickets for the show range from VND350,000(US$18) to VND1 million (US$50).

Not only rich fans but teens and families hunt for the band’s tickets since its sale started last Friday on website www.westlife.com.vn as well as at MegaStar Vincom, MegaStar Picomall and Boo City.

A 15-year-old fan who calls himself Min Westlife said he’d been looking forwards to seeing the band since March when Backstreet Boys came to perform in Vietnam.

“I’ve been in love with Westlife since I was in fifth grade. I didn’t know they would come so soon. When I got the ticket in my hand, I felt like I had been struck unconscious for a brief few seconds,” said Min.

Of another generation, Thu Huong, a 37-year employee in Hanoi, also got her tickets.

“When Westlife music came to Vietnam more than 10 years ago, I just graduated from university. Now I am married with a kid but I still love their songs. My husband also love international music,” said Huong.

Huong will go to see Westlife with her husband and 7-year-old son at the My Dinh Stadium.

Westlife is scheduled to arrive in Vietnam on September 31 to meet the press and fans as well as to rehearse for the show.

This is the first time they will come to Vietnam, one of their several stops in Asia including China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Korea.
