US reduces anti-dumping tariff on Vietnamese shrimp

(VOV) - The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the sixth preliminary results of administrative review (POR6) on Vietnamese frozen shrimp exported to the country from February 1, 2010 to January 31, 2011.

Accordingly, the new anti-dumping tariff on the Minh Phu and Nha Trang Seafood companies will fall to zero percent, while Camimex will pay 0.8 percent and others will be liable for 1.03 percent.

This is the third adjustment of anti-dumping tariffs on Vietnamese shrimp so far.

US regulations state that import businesses must pay their taxes in advance based on the previous administrative review and taxes will be collected when a new administrative review is announced.
