The US non-profit organisation Pact has financed a project to assist people living with HIV/AIDS and their families in Hanoi’s inner Hai Ba Trung and Dong Da districts.
The US$60,955 project will equip them with home-care skills and necessary knowledge to prevent the spread of HIV-AIDS.
It will also help them gain access to healthcare services and ARV treatments.
By April 30, Hanoi has had files of 20,954 drug users, who are in the high-risk group of HIV/AIDS infection.
