Tenor Adrian Ward will share the stage with a selection of Vietnamese artists to present Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 during a two-night concert at the Ha Noi Opera House from today.

HA NOI — Tenor Adrian Ward will share the stage with a selection of Vietnamese artists to present Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 during a two-night concert at the Ha Noi Opera House from today.

A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Ward won the Royal Overseas League's Vocal Prize in 2008.

The 28-year-old's operatic experience includes involvement in The Fairy Queen, Don Giovanni, Die Zauberflote, La Vie Parisienne, The Messiah and Solomon alongside appearances at the BBC Proms and the Royal Albert Hall amongst others.

During the Hanoian concerti, Ward will team up with soprano Ha Pham Thang Long, mezzo soprano Vanh Khuyen, baritone Vu Manh Dung, Japanese conductor Tetsuji Honna, British Chorus Master Graham Sutcliffe, the Ha Noi Freude Choir, the National University of Art Education Choir and the Viet Nam National Opera Ballet Choir.
