Vietnam’s U22 team is scheduled to play in two friendly matches with Thailand during their two-week training in June.
They will convene at the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) training centre in Hanoi on June 5 before flying to Thailand.
The upcoming friendly matches and training course are part of their preparations for the Asian U22 qualifying round in Myanmar where the Vietnamese footballers will play against rivals from Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan (China) and the Republic of Korea.
Led by head coach Lu Dinh Tuan, the Vietnamese U22 team aims to earn a ticket to the final round of the 2013 Asian U22 tournament.
The lineup of the squad will be:
Goalies: Huynh Tuan Linh, Tran Buu Ngoc, Lam An Do and Nguyen Van Hung.
Defenders: Nguyen Xuan Hung, Nguyen Huu Phuc, Le Xuan Anh, Nguyen Tien Duy, Tran Dinh Hoang, Vo Thai San, Duong Thanh Hao, Nguyen Thanh Hien and Le Thai Quang.
Midfielders: Le Quoc Phuong, Ngo Hoang Thinh, Do Van Thuan, Nguyen Hai Huy, Huynh Van Thanh, Tran Bao Anh, Huynh Thien Nhan, Le Xuan Hung, Mac Hong Quan and Nguyen Thanh Giang.
Strikers: Giang Tran Quach Tan, Nguyen Trung Tin, Ngan Van Dai, Nguyen Dinh Bao, Ha Minh Tuan and Duong Van An.
