PANO - Military Zone 7 Command, on March 8th, organised a get-together for typical women of different periods in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate 101st Anniversary of the International Women’s Day and 1971st Anniversary of Trung Sisters Uprising.
Mrs. Truong My Hoa, former Vice-President, Senior Lieutenant-General Phan Trung Kien, Deputy-Defence Minister, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroines of People’s Armed Forces, and female officers and soldiers in units under Military Zone 7 participated in the event.
During this get-together, the participants recalled magnanimous moments through stories told by female spy Nguyen Thi Yen Thao, Dr. Phuong Tan, Head of Rehabilitation Ward in Hoa Binh Village, Tu Du Hospital, Dr. Colonel Mai Thi Anh Nga, Rector of Military Health School No. 2, and athlete Nguyen Thi Thu Ngan from National Defence Physical and Sports Centre No. 2.
This meaningful event is a gift to Vietnamese women who devoted their lives for the national salvation and development.
