David Cook and Alexandra Burke, champions of American Idol and X-Factor, will have a performance during an artistic evening, “H-Artistry,” to take place on June 16th at Quan Ngua Sports Hall, Hanoi.
Vietnamese-Australian Thanh Bui will join the event with a slogan, “Combination of young talents of the world.”
Alexandra Burke, born in 1988, topped the X-Factor 2008 (a replacement of Pop Idol Contest). She is talented in pop and classic music with an emotive voice. Many reputed music producers have cast an eye on this golden voice singer.
Meanwhile, David Cook, 6 years older than Alexandra, is a rocker and musician in the USA. He was American Idol 2008.
When young, Thanh Bui, a Vietnamese-Australian born in 1983, showed off his talent in singing. He also played piano, studied dance and acted in plays. As a graduate in computer science, Thanh Bui pursued his singing career.
In 2000 and 2009, his band, “North”, released two albums in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore. In 2006, he started composing music for international singes and acted as a music producer. He was in the Top 8 in Australia Idol 2008. Thanh Bui has performed many times in Vietnam. He was also a music composer for a Vietnamese film, “Full of Love” (De mai tinh).
