Tuoi Tre newspaper will Saturday give away the “Help poor students to school” scholarships to poor freshmen studying in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program will benefit 150 poor students with good academic records, and is supported by the Vietnam National Petroleum Co, Long Thanh Golf Co, Young Business People Association (YBA) HCMC, Duy Loi Hammock Company, and the newspaper’s readers.
The annual scholarships, awarded since 2003, are part of Tuoi Tre’s “For tomorrow’s development” charity program.
Tuoi Tre has so far provided over VND21 billion to nearly 5,000 first-year students.
