Tam also took the white jersey for the best young cyclist, while the green jersey went to ADC Vinh Long Television’s Bui Minh Thuy.
Domesco Dong Thap 1 were crowned champions in the team event with a total time of 54 hours, 45 minutes and 51 seconds, followed by Thai CNN (from Thailand) and An Giang Plant Protection in second and third place, respectively.
The six-day event, co-organised by the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam and Hanoi Bicycle and Motor Federations, brought together 54 cyclists from seven Vietnamese teams and two international teams from the Republic of Korea and Thailand.
The cyclists raced for around 900km from May 19 to 24 in six stages through seven cities and provinces including Hanoi, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh and Lang Son.
