PANO – The Transport Regiment 651, under the Department of Logistics of Military Region 1, on April 6 th held a ceremony to launch a movement, “Traffic Culture with Water Way Transport Safety” in the presence of Major-General Nguyen Van Trinh – the Deputy Commander of Military Region 1.
The movement aims to raise awareness and responsibility of staff and troops in military units for waterway traffic safety as well as to comprehensively carry out solutions of the Steering Board of the Campaign 50 launched by the Defense Ministry, to ensure order of interior waterway traffic.

The Campaign aimed to reach five targets: culture with waterway users, traffic culture for ship units, models of fresh and safe culture for military harbours, models of safe culture on boats and so on.
At the ceremony, Major-General Nguyen Van Trinh stressed that staff and troops of Transport Regiment 651 should work hard to achieve those targets.
