(VOV) - French martial artists aged from 5-60 joined members of the Vietnam Traditional Martial Arts Federation to put on a demonstration in Paris on March 22.
The performances attracted a wide audience including French friends and fans of Vietnamese martial arts, as well as overseas Vietnamese.
Addressing the event, Serge Sciberras, president of the Vietnamese Martial Arts Federation in France, welcomed the Vietnamese delegation to major cities in France to introduce the martial arts.
Sciberras said his organization is hoping to sign a partnership agreement with the Vietnam Cultural Centre in France to develop traditional Vietnamese martial arts in France, Europe and around the world.
Nguyen Khac Trinh, a member of the Vietnamese delegation, said an increasing number of foreigners are very interested in these martial arts and want to learn and practise them.
