Nhan Dan – Vietnam earned US$160 million from exporting tra fish to American markets in January this year, representing an increase of 16%, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers.
Exports to Brazil and Colombia in the first half of January reached US$4.2 million and US$4.15 million, up 187.7% and 139%, respectively, over the same period in 2011.
Similarly, tra fish exports to Mexico and the US also soared by 92% and 37.5%, posting respective export revenues of US$10 million and US$13.7 million.
