Toyota Vietnam Foundation (TVF) and Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) are behind the ‘Toyota Concert Tour 2012 Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia’ taking place in Vientiane, Phnom Penh, HCMC and Hanoi from July 24 to August 6.

Toyota Vietnam Foundation (TVF) and Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) are behind the ‘Toyota Concert Tour 2012 Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia’ taking place in Vientiane, Phnom Penh, HCMC and Hanoi from July 24 to August 6.

The tour is arranged and performed by VNSO under the baton of Japanese maestro Honna Tetsuji and at the Vietnamese gigs, Bui Cong Duy will play a solo for Violin Concerto d-major op.61 by Beethoven.

In Laos and Cambodia, beside works from Strauss and light concert music pieces of American composer Leroy Anderson, Trinh Thanh Binh will also sing a few songs.

In Vietnam, the show will take place at HCMC Opera House at 8 p.m. on August 1 and at Hanoi Opera House at 8 p.m. on August 5 and 6. In Laos, it will hit the National Cultural Hall in Thanon Samsenthai, Ban Mixay, Muang Chanthaburi, Vientiane at 7:30 p.m. on July and 24 and in Cambodia, it will be hosted at Chatomuk Conference Hall Preah Sisowatha Quay, Sangkat Chatomuk, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh 12207 at 6:30 p.m. on July 28.

Ticket prices in Hanoi and HCMC are VND200,000, VND350,000 and VND500,000, with tickets for students priced at VND100,000 each. They are available now from Hanoi Opera House, 1 Trang Tien Street (Free delivery in Hanoi by calling 091 348 9858, 098 306 7996) and HCMC Opera House, 7 Lam Son Square, District 1, (08 6270 4450/ 098 987 4517). No tickets will be sold in Laos and Cambodia.
