Vietnam’s top badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh successfully defended his champion title at the 2011 National Badminton Tournament (Younex Sunrise Cup), which closed in Thai Nguyen province on September 18.
Minh, the world’s seed No.7, defeated Le Ha Anh from Hanoi 2-0 in the finals, and he has left for Japan to attend the 2011 open badminton tourney.
In the mixed-double event, Bao Duc and Hong Gam from Ho Chi Minh City clinched a decisive victory over Duc Thang and Nhu Thao from Hanoi to defend their champion title./.
