VietNamNet Bridge – The 4th blood donation festival named “Pink Spring” held by the Central Institute for Hematology and Blood Transfusion at Hanoi’s My Dinh National Stadium on February 20 attracted several thousand young people.
In the early morning, thousands of people went to the stadium to donate their blood.
By noon, the organizing board collected 2000 units of blood from 13,000 people.

While waiting for her husband to donate his blood, Mrs. Hong from Bac Ninh Province
walks around the My Dinh Stadium. She said since the first Pink Spring Festival in 2008,
her husband has donated his blood every three months.
