As many as 15 international dancing couples will compete with 85 leading Vietnamese couples at the International Dance Sport Federation (IDSF) Open Cup 2010 scheduled for August 13-14 in Hanoi.
The dancers come from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and the host Vietnam, the organisers said at a press conference in Hanoi on August 9.
They will compete in two categories of dance sport, including Latin and Standard.
The Vietnam IDSF Open Cup 2010 is an opportunity for Vietnamese dancers to compete, gain experience and enhance their techniques. The best dancers will be chosen to compete in the upcoming Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.(VNA)
